I was commissioned to create an illustration of the long-extinct Dilophosaurus, re-created with scientific accuracy and brought to life through the artistry of Photoshop. The goal of this project was to create a lifelike depiction of the dinosaur as if it still existed today.

To achieve this, I utilized a combination of techniques, including masking and blending modes, to seamlessly integrate actual photos of real live animals into the composition. By carefully selecting and blending these elements, I was able to enhance the authenticity of the Dilophosaurus, giving it a remarkably realistic appearance.

Using a Wacom tablet, I hand-painted intricate details such as rim lighting, highlights, and shadows. This attention to detail brought depth and realism to the illustration, further enhancing the overall photorealistic result.

The end product is a stunning depiction of Dilophosaurus that captures the imagination and transports viewers to a time when these magnificent creatures roamed the Earth. This scientifically accurate artwork showcases my skill and dedication in recreating a lifelike representation of the long-extinct species.
